Lyme disease can be truly devastating even though not all that much is known about it. What we do know is that it affects the immune system. Researchers believe it is transmitted by two primary carriers. They are:
1) Fleas and... 2) Ticks That's why it's absolutely critical to be careful when not only in being out in nature - like hiking or camping, but even in your own back yard!
