Herbal Cold Remedies Help Quickly, AND Inexpensively

The bad news is that there’s no cure for the common cold… Yet — but the good news is that herbs work really well as herbal cold remedies, and are easy to take, as well as inexpensive. If you can do nothing else, the first thing I would do is to get an herbal tea called “Gypsy Cold Care”. Then make an infusion. To prepare it you must bring the water to a boil, remove from heat, add tea-bags, cover to capture the volatile oils (probably where most of the herbal activity is) and make sure when you lift the lid you pour the oils back into the tea. I really like this tea a lot. You can get it at any health food store, or online.

The other thing you’d consider straight-away is capsicum. Red Chili Peppers. I notice when I have a cold, I crave Mexican Food (hey, I’m in Texas, we have some GOOD Mexican Food!) and I could just eat the chilis like crazy!… Capsicum is good for so many things it’s hard to believe.

If you’re just getting the cold, the best thing in that case is to get a product called Oscillococcinum. It comes from France and is readily available in any Drug or Health Food Store — it also works for the Flu… This stuff really works! Try it.

And of course… Don’t forget the Chicken Soup!
